Be Well.
Yes, an Epic Fail. These pictures were my attempt at taking cool shots of coffee dispensers (mmm coffee... see previous posts). And they are not that good. But next time I am at a coffee shop with my camera... I will try again! Some of life's biggest successes come after the Epic Fail... so what does this mean?? Go Big or Go Home, or maybe some other deep philosophical thing? Discuss with a friend or ponder by yourself over a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever your beverage choice may be. Be Well.

Eating well does not have to be boring. It just takes a little creativity and a little time (and in this case someone else making it for me :) ) to make eating healthy delicious! This Home Made Father's Day French Toast has bananas, black berries, blue berries, pumpkin seeds, home made whipped cream, and organic maple syrup. And yes it was fabulous! This would go well with a hot cup of coffee (see previous posts) or a great cup of tea. Take a little time for yourself and enjoy! Be Well. I Love Coffee! But coffee does not love me. It is definitely a non-reciprocal relationship. I love the smell, the taste, the warmth and much more. The first cup is awesome. The second is disaster. The key is to know your own limitations. Life is meant to be lived and part of that for me is the occasional cup of coffee (give me an occasion and I'll have some coffee!). The key to balance is to know where the edge is and to play with that edge. For me 1 cup good.... 2 cups bad! Sometimes I can sneak another 1/2 cup in small portions later in the day, but most of the time I just stick with one. It is more enjoyable that way! As Clint Eastwood once said "A man has got to know his limitations". Not to discriminate.. so does a woman! Live on the edge... Only you know where that is for you! At this very moment many people are freaking out... thinking isn't it Avagadro's Number?? No, it is Affogato, a delicious dessert of espresso poured over gelato or ice cream. In the pictures to the right the espresso was poured over home made Cardamom ice cream (click picture for location!). And Yes, it was delicious! On the left was the more traditional gelato. Absolutely wonderful. What does this have to do with Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Sage Remedies? It means we all need balance in our lives. Take time out and enjoy your own version of La Dolce Vita!
