Welcome to the Year of the Horse! If you did not like your New Year last September, or your New Year earlier this month, you can start all those New Year's Resolutions TODAY!!! So, enjoy yourself as you gallop through the year! What does that mean? You can either meditate on that by yourself or find a friend to share a cup of coffee (see previous posts) or a warm deliciously fabulous cup of tea. Be Well.

It seems that it is always sunny in southern California. Another 73 degree day in the sun. This got me thinking about the song Here Comes the Sun. (see/hear very cool version). Which also got me thinking about making something your own. If you are going to copy or pay homage to someone/something put your own stamp on it without question or without looking back! Say it loud, say it proud and make it yours! Here is my favorite cover of that song Here Comes the Sun. Which one did you like better? Find a friend and discuss over a cup coffee (see previous post) or tea. Be Well! Well not exactly a total eclipse at this point, but it still looks pretty cool. What does this have to do with anything? Not much really but it does remind me of some thing I found absolutely hilarious, and at is a duet of Total Eclipse of the Heart. What does this mean? Find a friend and have a cup of coffee (see previous post) or tea and discuss. Was this funny? Bad? or so bad it was funny? We all have our own sense of humor and I believe we all need a good laugh. Be Well. Yes, an Epic Fail. These pictures were my attempt at taking cool shots of coffee dispensers (mmm coffee... see previous posts). And they are not that good. But next time I am at a coffee shop with my camera... I will try again! Some of life's biggest successes come after the Epic Fail... so what does this mean?? Go Big or Go Home, or maybe some other deep philosophical thing? Discuss with a friend or ponder by yourself over a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever your beverage choice may be.
Be Well. Eating well does not have to be boring. It just takes a little creativity and a little time (and in this case someone else making it for me :) ) to make eating healthy delicious! This Home Made Father's Day French Toast has bananas, black berries, blue berries, pumpkin seeds, home made whipped cream, and organic maple syrup. And yes it was fabulous! This would go well with a hot cup of coffee (see previous posts) or a great cup of tea. Take a little time for yourself and enjoy! Be Well. The light from the full moon on this clear southern California night is illuminating on many levels. This is the first full moon of the year or the last if you go by the Chinese calendar. This moon is lighting the way of my new addition to my product line. A wonderfully potent Pine Pollen Tincture! Spring has hit early here and they are now ready! I have gathered enough for three batches. It will be a limited run. Come back to the site shortly to be invited to pre-order. It will be ready on the next Full Moon! Valentine's Day! May the light of the Full Moon guide you through the dark and show you something amazing! Be well. Orange you glad I didn't say banana? Ha, Ha, Hee, Hee, LOL and all that other stuff. Oranges are an excellent winter Pick Me Up. Or you can use an Orange related Pick Up line like "Hey that is a good looking Navel you've got there". Oranges brighten the mood with their warm color and enliven the palate with their sweet taste. Consider it food therapy in every bite. They are filled with vitamin C and deliciousness! So, go out and get an Orange by yourself or with a friend. Take a bite and enjoy! Be well. Sage - White Sage - Salvia Apiana - Let me introduce you to my friend and colleague! This is the base of my current product line. My products you ask? Yes my Sage Throat Spray, Sage Air Freshener, and Sage Massage Oil. White Sage has been used and is still used in Native American medicine for basically any thing having to do with the respiratory systems (Nose, Throat, Chest..etc) as well as being used to Clear Space/Energy in ceremonies. Yes, that Sage. It is quite fragrant and I will upload pictures when their flowers bloom this spring. The Sage is wild-crafted and sustainably harvested (I pick it like a tea plant, carefully and selectively for the various characteristics that speak to me). This is a very generous plant and I enjoy sharing the bounty. Be well. My semi-decade round of golf with my brothers is one of the great pleasures in life. A great cup of tea is also one of my greatest pleasures. I can't always get a round in with my brothers but I can always get a rounded tea spoon of my favorite teas from Lady of the Lotus Botanicals! Okay, that was a stretch. I love my coffee but nothing beats a great cup of tea. My favorites are Sage Advice or Heart's Content. By clicking on any of the pictures of tea below, you will be transported to the page that describes the wonderful organic blends available! Whether you are Teeing Up or taking time to sip some Tea, remember to relax, breathe and enjoy the moment! |
