"You miss 100% of the shots you do not take."

A quote from Wayne Gretzky for the topic of the day. Yes, it is true...you do miss all the shots you do not take.  What does it mean? Learn a foreign language, learn to dance, introduce yourself to that cute person you see everyday, learn to draw, sing out loud, teach yourself an instrument, and do it today!!  What do you want to do? Discuss with a friend over a cup of coffee (see previous posts) or tea! Take a shot!  Be well.

Here Comes the Sun

PictureAlbion, CA - December 2013
It seems that it is always sunny in southern California.  Another 73 degree day in the sun. This got me thinking about the song Here Comes the Sun. (see/hear very cool version).  Which also got me thinking about making something your own.  If you are going to copy or pay homage to someone/something put your own stamp on it without question or without looking back!  Say it loud, say it proud and make it yours!  Here is my favorite cover of that song Here Comes the Sun. Which one did you like better? Find a friend and discuss over a cup coffee (see previous post) or tea. Be Well!

Total Eclipse

PictureSolar Eclipse - May 2012
Well not exactly a total eclipse at this point, but it still looks pretty cool.  What does this have to do with anything?  Not much really but it does remind me of some thing I found absolutely hilarious, and at is a duet of Total Eclipse of the Heart. What does this mean?  Find a friend and have a cup of coffee (see previous post) or tea and discuss.  Was this funny? Bad? or so bad it was funny?
We all have our own sense of humor and I believe we all need a good laugh.  Be Well.

Especially when it comes to travelling and the TSA! Now available in a convenient 2 ounce bottle, Sage Body Oil.  All the power of Sage, in bottle that is a size that the TSA can handle! (Only my second advertisement blog, not bad I think) This awesome oil is great for the boosting the immunity and great for the skin! Mixing the power of Sage (Salvia Apiana - that is the sage you've seen in the store that folks use for smudging and ceremonies) and Olive Oil (used for hundreds of years by folks in the Mediterranean for skin protection) to make one fabulous Body Oil. Be the first on your block to be part of the sensation that is sweeping the nation! So, yes, Size Does Matter.

Epic Fail!

Yes, an Epic Fail.  These pictures were my attempt at taking cool shots of coffee dispensers (mmm coffee... see previous posts).  And they are not that good. But next time I am at a coffee shop with my camera... I will try again! Some of life's biggest successes come after the Epic Fail... so what does this mean??  Go Big or Go Home, or maybe some other deep philosophical thing?  Discuss with a friend or ponder by yourself over a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever your beverage choice may be.
Be Well.

Food For Thought

Eating well does not have to be boring. It just takes a little creativity and a little time (and in this case someone else making it for me :) ) to make eating healthy delicious! This Home Made Father's Day French Toast has bananas, black berries, blue berries, pumpkin seeds, home made whipped cream, and organic maple syrup.  And yes it was fabulous!   This would go well with a hot cup of coffee (see previous posts) or a great cup of tea.
Take a little time for yourself and enjoy!  Be Well.

Imperfect Perfection

The more I look at this picture, the more  I like it.  I see all the imperfections but when I add them together... That is the thought of the day, seeing the perfect through the imperfect, the symmetry in the chaos, or maybe even seeing the forest through the trees.  What the heck does the mean? Find a friend and discuss over a cup of tea.   Be Well.

On Your Path

There always seems to be a lot of talk about being "on your path".  What the heck does that really mean?  Well, I believe you know when you are on your path when your life goes the way you want it without conscious effort.  Basically when you are in the groove, when you are feeling it, when things just seem to be going your way.  I am not saying that this happens without effort, I am saying that this is when all the effort you are putting is paying off!  Good luck finding YOUR path where ever it may take you!  Here are a few to choose from below.   Be Well.

PicturePine Pollen, Ready to go...
The light from the full moon on this clear southern California night is illuminating on many levels.  This is the first full moon of the year or the last if you go by the Chinese calendar.  This moon is lighting the way of my new addition to my product line. A wonderfully potent Pine Pollen Tincture! Spring has hit early here and they are now ready!  I have gathered enough for three batches.  It will be a limited run.  Come back to the site shortly to be invited to pre-order.  It will be ready on the next Full Moon! Valentine's Day!  May the light of the Full Moon guide you through the dark and show you something amazing! Be well.

Orange you glad I didn't say banana? Ha, Ha, Hee, Hee, LOL and all that other stuff.  Oranges are an excellent winter Pick Me Up. Or you can use an Orange related Pick Up line like "Hey that is a good looking Navel you've got there". Oranges brighten the mood with their warm color and enliven the palate with their sweet taste. Consider it food therapy in every bite.  They are filled with vitamin C and deliciousness! So, go out and get an Orange by yourself or with a friend. Take a bite and enjoy!

Be well.
